I have this error: Derivative is at time ... is not finite, fixed by saturation block but I want to remove this block

I'm having a problem with this derivative. The problem is that if I remove the saturation block (circled in the image), then simulink immediately runs very slow or doesn't work, or there is an error, it is a "derivative of state '...' in block '...' at time 4.0 error is not finite". I want to remove this block but don't know how, because putting it in, although it works, affects the results of the model.
