Convert following code in matlab to python

I have a 3D matrix of size 176*256*256.

To access it frame by frame I have written a code in matlab -

for i=20:25

aimage=Y(i,:,:);

bimage(:,:)=aimage(1,:,:);

imshow(bimage)

Where Y is my matrix. How to write this in python to access it frame by frame?
