How to plot a contour plot on a sphere????

I am working with lunar data and have the latitude as a 180 element matrix and longitude as a 360 element matrix and a third variable 180*360 that has temperatures at these points. Now I want to make a contour plot of this data not in the usual rectangular grid but on a sphere. How should I go about doing this?
