Is there shift of a signal's spectrum when using the Rayleigh channel? I mean Doppler Shift. "Yes"/"No" and "Why?"

No. I'm asking you, because I very need to check a statement of someone. And I want to be sure, that I am right.
I mean, that:
I) a Rayleigh channel model have a large number of the reflected path (or beams) and haven't a direct path between the transmitter and the receiver. When the reciever and transmiter is moving, the length of the paths (or beams) is changing by different speeds and different directions. Therefore there is no Doppler Shift in a recieved signal at a Rayleigh Channel (generally case).
II) Rician Channel has a direct path between reciever and transmiter. Therefore there is Doppler Shift in a recieved signal.
My question is: "Is that right?"
I'll be very grateful, if you give a links (literature), which these facts are specified.
Thank you for helping me.

I'm not familiar with that field. It's good though that you supplied the extra information - someone will probably be able to help you. You'll increase that probability if you can show that it is a MATLAB programming question and not a theoretical/algorithm question. Otherwise they'll just say to Google it.
