Error reading MIL avi file

I am trying to read an avi file with videoreader, but it shows the following error:

Error using VideoReader/init (line 442) The file requires the following codec(s) to be installed on your system: MIL

I have installed Matrox Imaging Library. Now what change do I need to make in matlab file so that videoreader works? Thanks.

Are you using 32 bit or 64 bit MATLAB? Is the MIL a 32 bit or 64 bit codec?
