Matlab plot axis stretch

Hi,

I am trying to plot one colomn of an matrix

CurveData(i,j);
plot(CurveData(:,LocYplot),'b  o','LineWidth',0.5);

is there anyway that i can have the plot X axis scale display i*3 instead of i ?

set(gca,'xtick',ii*3)
