Initialise a data store memory without using the default value

Hi,
I am using embedded coder and want a data store memory to read from the non volatile flash on my target. Currently the code can read and write to the desired area of memory during running. However when starting the model it will first run the following:
/* Model initialize function */
void tstnv_initialize(void)
{
/* Start for DataStoreMemory: '<Root>/Data Store Memory' */
SET(tstnv_P.DataStoreMemory_InitialValue);
}
This has the obvious effect of initialising my DataStoreMemory with the 'factory' defaults. How to I disable this feature, and instead allow it to read directly from my memory on the first step. The platform code can assign the value from NV before stepping the model.
Thanks
Craig
