Problem with matlab not finding compilers using "mex -setup"

Using R2008b on Win7 64bit, I am having an issue with MATLAB being able to see my compiler when I try and set it using the "mex -setup" command in the command window. When I run that command, it shows that I have no compilers to choose from even though I installed Microsoft Visual 2010 Express and Microsoft Windows SDK 7.1 as per the directions here: http://www.mathworks.com/support/solutions/en/data/1-ECUGQX/ Any help would be appreciated.
