I prefer to highlight the current line when editing. So I turned this preference on via Matlab Preference->Editor/Debugger->Display and clicked on Apply. But, I see no effect. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

When you hit the View tab when your active window is a .m file, you can check the Display section, and see that the 'Highlight current line' is marked.
As far as I know, there is no such function for live editor, as you open a new .mlx window, and the option (by doing the same steps) of Highlighting current line is not there anymore.
I have 2019b version. Not sure if this is available on 2020 version.
Cheers.

Hi, Thank you. You are absolutely right. I have 2020a. It works indeed fine for .m files, but not for live editor. A bit stranger why this is the case. Cheers, Jun
