How to change the y-limit values from low to high?

I implemented a fractal generation code and obtained the image. Somehow i am getting y limit values starting from high end. It means for y[1,5], ylimit starts from 5 and goes upto 1. I tried ylim([1,5]) as well but no luck. Please help me to change it. Sample code and image are attached for your reference.
