Hello,
I have a gaussian fucntion whose output image is shown below. Each index in this figure is supposed to be = 1 cm.
Then I take the 2d FT of this function and I get an output as below.
my question is: now each index after the FT won't be 1 cm. How do I find the new spatial values?
Thank you very much.

Correct. It will be in cycles / spatial unit, analogous to a 1D Fourier transform of a time-domain signal being in units of cycles / time unit. There are no new spatial values to find, only frequency values.
