Point Cloud from label map

Hi everybody,

I want to know if it is possible to extract a surface mesh or a point cloud from the external boundary of a label map of a segmentation. I have already load the label map (.nrrd) into matlab using nrrdread and I have obtained X=512x512x265 int16. Now I don't know what I have to do.
