help with plotting please

the directions are to "Plot the force of the BD link as a function of the matrix determinant". The determinant for my matrix is -0.0070 and the force of BD is found to be -441.67 lb. Please help i am totaly lost when it comes to plotting using matlab. Thank you in advance.

Mitch - you may want to provide some context. Do you just have the one matrix? Or do you have multiple matrices and so multiple pairs of force and determinant?

Yes just the one matrix with with one determinant. I did an aug matrix to find my values for the forces in which I found BD to be the above specified value.
