ADLAM Pluto data transfer

Hi,

I went through the example in which Pluto is used for transmitting and receiving images. In this example data that is given has to be 8-bit integer. The example of sending complex sine wave was also tried out. Is there any format by which I can send and receive complex numbers directly through Pluto? My signal processing generates complex numbers that are not integers.
