How inrush current related to saturation characteristics of transformer block ?

when i am simulating a system for inrush current, unless and until the transformer block is set in saturable condition it won't show any inrush current being drawn. the following picture shows the behavior when the system is unloaded and is being charged. But the same block won't show any inrush current without satuartion characteristics being used.

what i would like to know is 1. Is Matlab considering ideal core while simulation?

2. How inrush current and saturable core is related in matlab?

3. How the magnetising current and flux parameters related to flux change?
