simulink does not open

I have started a 30 day trial and downloaded matlab on both my desktop and laptop. I am trying to open simulink on my laptop and nothing happens. I even used the command simulink and nothing happens. I was trying to watch simulink onramp. What could be wrong?

Meanwhile you can try using the following command:

>>rehash toolboxcache
