plot country borders with old matlab version

Hello,

I'm using old Matlab (~2005) which doesn't contain built in option to plot maps and locations and connections between them.

Any suggestion how can I draw the borders of my country?

I guess that I'll have to download some data where the more feasable is openstreetmap.

The main issue - how do i proceed from there?
