Long delay opening ASIO device

I'm using a PreSonus Studio 1824c multichannel ASIO audio interface and the Audio Toolbox.

Whenever I initialize the device using audioPlayerRecorder(_), there is a very long delay (roughly 30 seconds). This is not only a problem at the beginning of a program, but throughout since I need to change the channel mappings on the fly.

Any ideas?

This was fixed with a firmware upgrade. Not a Matlab problem.
