Wishlist item: Hover cursor over variable display

1) I really like being able to hover my cursor over a variable and to see the current values. Typically for a 1-D array it will fill the screen down to the bottom margin showing the start of the buffer. But as often as not, I want to see the values at the end of the buffer. It would be a wish come true to have the popup panel show the starting values of the array V(1: N) where N is the number of values which will fit in the top half of the panel, then V(end-N: end) where N is the number of values which will fit in the bottom half of the panel. The first values are virtually predicable. The last value is often not, and that is why you look to see what they are. If there is a customisation of this possible, it's looking for a needle in a haystack to find it.
2) Also I submit wishlist from time to time, but I'd never hear whether my ideas have ever been implemented. Systematically looking at the features of the latest edition is something that I never have time to do. Matlab would make it to being really user friendly if it closed this feedback look and notified the suggester.
Thanks.
