how could I write a code in m.file to replace the new pulses of encoders with arduino? actually I write a code in m.file to read the counts of encoder and I defined a varialble A equals to counts so i want to replace the amount of the A with new pulse in next time step how I should write this variable and steps?

actually I mean I want to read the counts of the encoder each 0.01 seconds
