Matlab processes are too slow

i have a pc with i3 processor and 6gb ram and i am trying to use matlab 2018a. But the software is too slow to process anything. My pc just restart on its own whenever i run an example of any toolbox on matlab for example regression learner or pattern recognition.

Kindly give me a solution to it.

run "bench" in MATLAB to see your PC's performance. In my opinion, i3 processor might be a little too old for R2018a. Core i3 is family of low-end performance processors introduced by Intel since 2010.

as per your suggestion i am upgrading my system to i7 then reinstall matlab to see if that helps. I thank you for your advice.
