MATLAB as spice editor

Is there any add-on or plug-in for one to use MATLAB as a SPICE editor? For example, in MATLAB editor, the SPICE key words of .sp files are highlighted. Or multiple lines can be commented with * all at once?

There is no SPICE addon for MATLAB. You can still open SPICE files in MATLAB editor but will not be able to highlight specific SPICE keywords or other SPICE specific operations. You can use subcircuit2ssc to convert your SPICE netlist into Simscape code.
