Help with GUI and plot3 plotting

How do I make 3d plots using a GUI? using axes(f) is only creating a 2d plot. I need to plot x, y, and z

   f = figure;
myaxes = axes(f);
 myaxes.Units = 'pixels';
 myaxes.Position = [100 120 325 280];

I attached my code if anyone wants to take a closer look at the rest of it

axes does not create a "plot" at all, but only an axes object. If you draw some 3D data in it, you can set the view to 3D:

view(3)
