unable to plot training progress.

I am using Matlab2017b and i want to use 'Plots','training-progress' in trainingOptions but i am unable to do so. I get the error, too many input arguments and the other one as error using patch, too many arguments. I am not sure what part i am missing because this is a built-in command.
