What should I do after this step to convert braille letters to a text using neural networks ?

should I crop these features(rectangles) and store each one to get the dataset ? I need to get a data set from them what should I do ? what functions could I use to get the vector of those rectangles ? I need to store a data set in excel to fed them to a neural network . Should the data I store just 0 and 1 ???
