I have to use these images to find how much indain coastline has shifted across the years..

I have to use these images to find how much indain coastline has shifted across the years..I tried using edge detection but was stuck on finding cg of edge and using it to find the shift

The yellow edge is assumed to be the coastline it would be be nearly identical in both images as the orrisa coastline in actual has shifted by about 3 km

Are you sure? I tried overlaying the two figures and the pixels are identical.
