How can I filter SLDD files with the Comparison Tool?

When trying to filter two SLDD files, there are no options in the filtering dropdown to filter out certain criteria. This is crucial when using the comparison tool, as most of the differences the tool finds are just the LastModified and LastModifiedBy attributes of each variable, even if nothing has changed.

I am also facing this issue when merging sldd files. It isn't viable to check each sldd entry for oft unimportant differences.
