I have a question in the Neurocal software https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/1588-neurocal?focused=5035110&tab=function : Is it possible to simulate a neuron that receives stimulus from more than one dendrite at the same time? In other words, can we write the command of the extracelluar stimulus twice or more in the same model fil

Hi Mr. Abbass,
I am trying to use the Neurocal software that you mentioned, but I encounter some problems before I can run simulations with it. Every time I click on the neurocal.m, and it opens with MATLAB R2016b/2018a (I have two versions.). After I input the command "neurocal" into the command window, it pops out a lot of errors. (I copy the messages and paste them below.)
Error using global GLOBAL cannot be used in an feval.
Error in create_dummyvar (line 10) feval('global',zeng2.varlist{tempzeng})
Error in zexst (line 215) create_dummyvar
Error in zexst (line 98) zexst('open model file',zeng2.file)
Error in neurocal (line 12) zexst('initial')
So I am wondering which version of MATLAB you are using and how you get it work. Would you please share your method with me and my classmates?
Thanks.
