GUI TUTORIAL FOR IMAGE MODELS

I need tutorial or help for making a GUI for Image security model in which I choose a image form a GUI, display it and then some mechanism is done on that behind the GUI and final results displayed form my program. Also I have already made the program without GUI, How will I be able to pass image using GUI to Program and return the result to GUI. Also I searched google and found GUIDE.I am using Matlab R2010a version.

I am totally new to GUI so above said things may look awesome!!
