Waterfilling algorithm for multiuser

Hi everyone, I am new to Matlab. I have difficulty in implementing the following formula R_kn=x_(kn ) w 〖log〗_2 (1+(p_kn |h_kn^2 |)/(x_(kn ) wNo))

I am unable to calculate this channel response (h^2{k,n}) for link k and subcarrier n. I am really confuse. Can someone help please. Regards Khadija

Mrs. khadija , About your question.I think you use to the absulute H instead of h^2 . Good luck Heydar.
