How to send data using Simulink Serial send?

Hello all, I am trying to send an uint8 constant from simulink to a serial port. I have a Bluetooth connected to usb-ttl serial port. I am able to send data but at the receiving end I am getting random numbers + sent data. Initially I thought it could be sending carriage return or new line feed, but as I change the constant value in simulink the random numbers tend to change too. Please take a look at the picture attached where I have used TeraTerm and Arduino to receive data. Any help will be much appreciated.
