Can c++ run MATLAB code through MATLAB engine API without MATLAB installed?

Greetings I have made a c++ code and want to integrate with my MATLAB algorithm. How can I do that? I found that there is something called MATLAB Engine API for c/c++. So my main question, We can run MATLAB code at backend through c++ using MATLAB engine API, but can this c++(with MATLAB) file run wihtout MATLAB installed on computer? Please help, I got only two days to interface the two existing codes.
