How to convert pulses into integer

Hello,

I'm working on a RFID simulation : I have simulated my tag, my reader, the distance between them... I can recover my pulses with a MMP sensor, but now I have to convert this signal into an integer, to recognize the tag.

I suppose there is a way to do that, but right now i don't have any idea.
