How to get access to control system of a usb device using matlab?

I connected a USB microscope in Matlab using the code:

cam=webcam(2); %2 stands for the second port 1 is for the webcam

Now using this I got the access to take photos and record videos from the microscope.

image1=snapshot(cam);
Further microscope also has autofocus, brightness adjust and a capacitive touch to capture the image. Autofocus and brightness adjust can be adjusted b turning circular disks embedded within the microscope.
Is there any way to get control over those Matlab or we have to it manually all the time?
