How do I edit copy options in Matlab r2017a to metafile on mac?

I can't seem to find the solution to change the copy options in Matlab to metafile from Bitmap on a mac. On this help page for copy options it shows the copy options tab available on windows machines and says that mac users should use programatic alternatives (which I can't find and don't know). For clarity, I can copy figure from Edit tab, but there is no copy options tab under Edit in Matlab on my mac. Thanks for the help!

You cannot do that. metafile is only supported on MS Windows. On Mac only bitmap and pdf are supported.
