Function fixdt() behaves differently when I give the slope argument in decimal or in power of two.Can anyone explain me why?

For a signal declared as DSM in simulink for fixed point system, I am getting same value at time t1 and t2 when using the below syntax: fixdt(0,16,0.01,0)
But getting different value for the signal when using: fixdt(0,16,2^-7,0)
