Simulate a Sensor network

Please help me in creating a sensor node with the following characteristics

1)A group of 10 nodes should contend for the channel in a time slot. 2)If slot is allotted they can transmit packet in that particular slot 3)A node must have an address through which I can say that a particular node has transmitted 4)Node is not mobile but has to transfer data to the sink in one hop.

I am confused in how to create a node which can have its own parameters like data_to_send, contend_for_channel. I am also struck up with how to create time instant where the node can transmit or contend etc. Please help me.
