USRP2 Firm Ware

Hi,

 I am trying to connect my USRP2 device to simulink. I have a new sd card in which I have uploaded the required firmware as given in http://www.mathworks.com/support/solutions/en/data/1-CUN7JZ/?solution=1-CUN7JZ

This all goes as planned and everything is verified etc.

When I insert the SD card into the USRP2 however, only the 'f' light is on, and nothing happens (i.e. The ABC lights do not flicker, the ED lights remain off). When I try to communicate with Simulink it says that it cannot. I believe that either the firmware is not on correctly or I have forgotten to upload other files needed.

Many people have posted that they can get through the initial state, I was wonder if anyone could advise me? Should I perhaps upload all the GNU software to the sd card even if I am not using Python etc?
