header file with just interface

I am using ert_shrlib.tlc with Visual Studio 2013 to make a .dll successfully, but the associated model.h file has all of the data declared in it, not just the I/O. How to I segregate the type declarations?

I am not sure exactly what you are trying to achieve. But the Code Placement tab which is present in the Configuration Parameters -> Code Generation -> Code Placement section might be able to point you in the right direction.

The goal is to have an automatically generated header file with just the interface information, and no more. The default header file has all model structure info, interface plus internal. I/O headers are needed for sharing models with proprietary info, as well as for just keeping things simple. I am quite sure that there is no way to do this with R2015a except with 3rd party software. I just got R2017a and will be looking.
