how to use the multilayer perceptron neural network code for a signal?

I am doing my classification of epileptic signals using multilayer perceptron neural network from the following link. https://in.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/54076-mlp-neural-network-with-backpropagation But the code runs only for the input specified in the program.How to alter it for a input from an excel sheet?
