Hello all,
I require a variable capacitor with the capacitance controlled by the voltage value. I looked through the answers and simscape language documentation, no luck. The issue is the difference in units.
Would anyone know of a way?
I feel one way around this is the convert the voltage to unitless, via 'value' and assign it to an intermediary variable, then assign it to another variable were the unit is defined. I used this is the variable capacitor custom block code provided on here (overwrote copied url). Now its throwing a solver error, which I think originates from the I-V power systems to simscape conversion block.

Solved, its create-able via simscape language.
Without even analyzing the state-space system of equations, it is not simulate-able and not valid physically.
It violates the conservation of energy in regards to the voltage over it and changes to the capacitance value.

Can u please expliain how to do this in simscape. Can we create a voltage controlled capacitor model using simscape language ?If so what should be the equation for voltage?
