How do I calculate TRE to validate image registration output?

Hi
After we deploy new image registration algorithm we need to validate with fiducial points that provided by experts. The image that we want to register have different modal (US and MR). for more details regarding the data click here.
the validation file is TAG file look like below (open using Excel):
  1. How read TAG file using Matlab?
  2. How calculate the TRE between registered image and TAG points?
