Hi,
My MATLAB abilities are average as are my mathematical abilities. So I would please ask that you don't assume I am up to your levels.
I have come across the Mathieu equation in my chemistry book regarding quadrupole mass spectrometer. I want to be able to use MATLAB to solve the equation and plot the stability diagram (those boundary curves which relate to stable/unstable solutions)?
The details of the equation are attached. Actually, cant seem to attach them but have located them here: http://www.qmg700.com/quadinfo/Literature/Quadrupole%20basics%20mass%20filter%20neutral%20v4.pdf
Hope you can help! Cheers.

Hello,
Thank you very much for your reply. I'm sorry to reply to you now. Now that I have solved the stable graph of the Mathieu equation I have proposed, I have seen the link you gave me before. In a word, thank you very much for taking the time to reply to my email.
Best regards.
