how is MATLAB GUI better than Visual Basic?

I am making Library management System using MATLAB GUI...how is this better than Visual Basic or making in C or C++ or Java..

There are tradeoffs, advantages and disadvantages to the various possibilities you list, but there is no objective meaning for the word "better". See http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/24189-how-to-choose-which-is-best
