What factors we need to consider for making all the images of the same size?

I have 20 images of different size stored in one folder and want to make the size of these images same without loss of information.

Well, you either have to lose information in some or 'invent' information in the others by interpolating them upwards.
doc imresize
should do whichever direction you want.
