Syntax error using simulink

Hey everyone,
I am trying to run a simulation on simulink but I keep on receiving syntax error messages, but I do not know where to find my mistake. Could someone please help me?
((10342500-(u(2)*sign(u(1))))^(1/2))*u(1)

That line is valid in itself. Are you using a MATLAB Function Block?
