how to find integral for this function

this is the actual function

i coded it as fallows fun1=@(x)((sqrt(((tan(pi*x/2))/(pi*x/2))*((0.923+(0.199*(1-sin((pi*x)/2))^4)))/cos((pi*x)/2)))^2)
but i'm getting so many errors like
Error using ^ Inputs must be a scalar and a square matrix. To compute elementwise POWER, use POWER (.^) instead.
