Regarding HDL Code generation

Hi,

Can we generate HDL code for simulink models designed using SimPowerSystems?

If not, why?

Simulink HDL Coder can generate HDL for a supported set of Simulink blocks. While this list is fairly extensive, it does not include any support for SimPowerSystems. SimPowerSystems is designed to model electrical power systems; that is, analog power systems. If you have a SimPowerSystems design that contains, for example, a control system constructed out of HDL-supported blocks, you can generate HDL from that portion of the design.
