Fac Recognition Using Gabor filters

HI! Im doin my final final year project on face recognition using gabor filters. i have implemented the gabor filters using a bank of 40 filters as described in all the papers. now i want to convert the filter response into a feature vector so that i can apply pca for dimension reduction and then put it into a classifier for pattern recognition. the problem is that i dont know how to proceed after apply the filter bank. how do i create the feature vector? any suggestions or help will be greatly appreciated. im a novice and dont know much about matlab. Thank you!
