Plot the offset surface

I need to plot a surface which is offset to the given surface.

What is the form of your data? At the moment it sounds like you should just add a constant to the coordinates and draw the surface

Take any surface any draw the offset surface by moving the points along normal to the surface at that point.

Hello, interp2 might help you. You can interpolate function values for two dimensions. You have to create the same grid for both of your surfaces and then you can add the function values grid. Execute the following command in the MATLAB Command Window for more information:

    web(fullfile(docroot, 'matlab/ref/interp2.html'))
